'Tis true, sadly. Halloween just isn't what it used to be. I thought it was just our dead and dying neighborhood (speaking figuratively here - not literally!) - it's actually comforting to know it's fairly widespread.
Halloween sucks. Like all holidays it has been screwed over by the maniacs allowed to roam free. I'll bet the little old lady on Ash Ave still hands out homemade popcorn balls, those were simpler times.
